Common Questions

We understand you may have questions about the recovery process. Here are direct answers to the most common concerns.

Are you a government agency?

No. Crown Equity Group is a private administrative firm. We specialize in auditing government records to locate unclaimed funds and assisting individuals in the recovery process. We are not affiliated with any county, state, or federal agency.

Do I have to use your service to claim funds?

No. You always have the right to file a claim yourself directly with the holding agency. Our service is optional and is designed for individuals who prefer professional assistance to navigate the legal paperwork, court motions, and filing requirements without upfront costs.

Is there a guarantee I will get paid?

We cannot guarantee the outcome of any claim, as the final decision rests with the government agency or court holding the funds. However, because we work on a contingency basis, we only take on cases where our audit shows a very high probability of success. If we don't win, you don't pay.

Are there any upfront costs?

Zero. We cover all attorney fees, filing fees, notary costs, and research expenses upfront. Our fee is strictly a percentage of the funds recovered, and it is only collected after the check has been issued.

Why did I receive a text or letter?

Our research team conducts audits of public government records. When we identify a surplus amount held in a specific name, we attempt to locate and notify that individual. We use public contact records to reach out.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes. We take data security seriously. During the initial verification, we will never ask for your Social Security Number or Bank Account information via text or email.

Still have questions about your specific case?

The best way to get answers is to verify if there is an active file in your name.
